The first edition (2009) discussed the applications of behavioral finance in private banking. It covered the theoretical foundations of investment decision-making, an introduction to behavioral biases, an explanation of cultural differences in global business, a guide to asset allocation over the life cycle of the investment, and several case studies to illustrate how can be applied. It ultimately showed private bankers how to satisfy client needs from a behavioral lens. The second edition will add content on neurofinance and fintech, covering developments in the last 8 years. The focus of the book is the set-up of a structured wealth management process that enables advisors to derive a tailored asset allocation that matches the individual needs and preferences of their clients.
