Handbook of Dentoalveolar Surgery

This book is envisioned as a part of the OMS handbook series that was started with a book currently in development: Handbook of Oral and Maxillofacial Trauma, by Steven Press.  The aim of the series is to provide accessible single handbooks (cookbooks) on the core areas of Maxillofacial Surgery, a discipline usually dominated by large, comprehensive references that focus more on the didactics that the clinical "how-to."   Proposed titles in the series are anesthesia and sedation, trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, surgical pathology, orthognathic surgery, cleft and craniofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery, and esthetic surgery.
