Catalytic Arylation Methods From the Academic Labto Industrial Processes

This book provides the reader with an updated view of the current state of the challenging field of catalytic arylation reactions. The well-known and established cross-coupling methods (such as the Heck, Suzuki, Negashi, Ullman coupling) are only touched briefly at the beginning. The following chapters focus on more recently developed, concise, and efficacious methods, such as conjugate additions, imine arylation, carbonyl group arylation, C-H activation, alpha-arylation processes, Fe-, Cu- and Au-catalyzed cross-couplings, decarboxylative coupling techniques, catalytic cylcoadditions as well as methods for the arylation of amines, phenols, alcohols and thiols.
