This book contains approximately 10-12 case studies on health care quality improvement. The Background and Task sections provides the problem and its context including explanation of key health care and medical concepts. The Data and Data Management sections gives the data source and variable definitions and shows JMP operations needed to prepare the data for analysis. The Analysis section gives step-by-step JMP instructions showing how to execute each statistical method presented. The Summary section interprets the JMP output and statistical results in the problem context. The Concepts and Tools section of each case identifies the applicable step in the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control cycle for each of the tools presented. A summary table shows the statistical methods, quality tools, JMP features, and data management concepts covered.
