Pharmaceutical Calculations, 5th Edition

Retaining the same programmed instructional format as the successful previous editions, this book improves and updates an authoritative textbook to keep pace with modern compounding trends and calculations. All of the material has been reviewed, updated, and (where necessary) improved. In order to better assist students, faculty, and professionals; this new edition excludes the final two chapters of the 4^th edition (which dealt with biopharmaceutics and physical pharmacy) and replaces them with new chapters emphasizing modern compounding trends and calculations directed to veterinary pharmacy. Several items in the old appendix are either expanded and relocated or removed. As such, the book continues its use for teaching pharmacy students the principles of pharmaceutical calculations required in real world situations while also serving as a reference for review by students in preparation for licensure exams.
