Designing Knowledge Organizations

Designing Knowledge Organizations is based upon a graduate course taught at Stevens Institute of Technology to Masters and PhD students. The book focuses on the design and management of a K-organization: any company that generates and applies knowledge. The authors concentrate on both micro- and macro-design and their interrelationships at individual, team, task, process, and organizational levels. The book intertwines the disciplines of organizational design and knowledge management, using extensive discussion, examples, case studies, and visualizations.
